Who I am
Dr. Parrino specialized with honors in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the University of Catania .
Over the years he has carried out clinical and basic research in the areas of obesity and diabetes mellitus.
She gained international professional experience at Temple University in Philadelphia ( USA ), where she dedicated herself to basic research, and at the headquarters of a leading pharmaceutical company in the development of drugs for diabetes mellitus and obesity in Copenhagen ( Denmark ).
He also achieved:
- Master's Degree in Food Science
- Diabetes Mellitus Educator Certification
- Certificate for performing thyroid ultrasounds
He has over ten years of clinical experience in hospital settings (Sicily and Lombardy) and outpatient settings (Sicily, Lombardy and Lazio).
She is the author of scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals and since 2019 has held the role of Section Editor of the Endo-Diabetes Area of the Springer journal “Medici Oggi”.
It offers the possibility of carrying out visits in English in case of lack of mastery of the Italian language.
